[ViX_Misc] Channel Scanning Question ?

Hello Everyone.

I have a 1.2mt motorised dish with twin output lnb.
One lnb output is connected to a TM 7102HD & the second lnb output to a Gigablue Quad Plus.

I have a question regarding channel scanning using Vix image that someone may have the answer to.
I'm just moved on to image 064 but I've had a similar problem when on my previous image 041.

I was on SES4 @ 22' West.
I scanned transponder 12674H 20255 3/4 which contains 4 or 5 Algerian channels.
The TM finds them no problem but the Gigablue tells me there are no transponders found.
I've tried every which way I can think of but no go.
There are also two news feeds at lower frequencies on 22' West which both boxes find no problem

I've ruled out a mechanical or settings problem as moving the dish to another satellite brings in the high frequency transponders on both boxes no problem.

Previously I had a similar problem on Astra 19' East where I couldn't bring in Sky News on the Gigablue. But then for some reason it worked fine after much trying ?

I'm tearing out what hair I have left with this.
Any ideas anyone ?

Update on this.

I tried everything including switching from the A tuner to the B tuner in the Gigablue.
I also swapped lnb cables from the TM & the Gigablue but no luck.
Eventually after much ******** I tried another blind scan from 12600 to 12680 & everything scanned in no problem.
I had already tried blind scans with no luck so I'm completely puzzled by this behaviour

If anyone has experienced this or have any ideas please let me know ?

Hello Everyone.

I'm surprised that no one else has had this problem or made any suggestions.

Last night I was on Intelsat 14 @ 45° West which has a channel RASD TV on 11608 H DVB-S/MPEG-2 1852 5/6.

I could clearly see this channel on my TM 7102 HD. It had a level of about 75% which is strong.
No matter what I did there was no way the GigaBlue Quad Plus with VIX 064 would scan this channel.
I tried everything including blind scans but no go.
Eventually I left the receiver on Sat Finder with the correct frequency & when I came back later it had locked.
I scanned in the channel no problem + some radio channels as well.

I then moved to a different satellite & when I went back to 45@ West nothing again.
Eventually I packed it in for the night.

This morning I tried again but no lock on 45' West even though the TM is working fine.
I was on tuner A so i switched to tuner B but again nothing on 45' West.

I've done everything I can think off at this stage including switching cables, tuners etc so I can only think its software related.

I know there are folks on here who have forgotten more than I will ever know about these receivers so I would welcome any discussion or ideas you might have.
