When MGCamd and CCcam are set to startup enabled, the box freezes and needs a hard restart.

This happens both when their config files are wrong (no connection to server) or when my internet connection is turned off.

Not sure if its directly related, but the serial log output freezes (completely with CCcam and for a minute with MGCamd) with:

/etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate-sync: line 54: hwclock: not found

i don't think you can run cccam and mgcamd at the same time. stop one of them and use 1

Yeh sorry i forgot to mention... obviously im using them 1 at a time...

Tried with MGCamd first, then same happens when i disable MGcamd and enable CCcam.

could it be that they are setup incorrectly or were they working before. what were you doing before this happened?

Everything was fine with Apollo

If my internet and the scam server is working then its fine... only when it loses connection.

Anyone else have this problem?

Happens on both my Quad + boxes? Sometimes takes half an hour before freezing, sometimes less than 5 minutes. Its a nightmare if you have bad internet that isn't always active :(

i would start a fresh flash to Hades 018 with no back. if you are using mgcamd make sure this is setup correctly. if you look on this forum, one of the admin had attached a copy of their mg_cfg, check with yours and use similar setup or use CCcam 2.3.0 (depending your on your choice, or OSCAM). make sure that the cams are tick and enabled. once you done this report back and let us know if worked.
