[VU+ Solo SE] crossepg error no dvbs nims found

recently set up vu solo se v2 with cable and am trying to use epg
i would like to use crossepg but I keep getting the above error "crossepg error dvbs no NIMS found"

ive tried to update the rytec providers and download through them but that doesnt work and doenst even give me a day

at first i tried to set it up to point to 28.2 using opentv providers but that didnt work either

help please

Please stop starting multiple threads for the same issue. CrossEPG downloader (OpenTV 28.2) downloads the data from the satellite. You do not have a satellite tuner. You cannot use cross EPG downloader and download from the signal wire.

You can use the VM preview channel.
120 seconds is fine.
Use background zap option

This is the 1st thread I have started, after replying to another thread that was over a year old whixh had no updates.. I assume you mean use the vm preview channel in place of the pvr_epg channel right?

You can use either. Actually any channel on the same frequency
