D-Link DWA-140 wireless N

Just to let people know owning a vu uno ( although certain it should work on any vu+), this wireless n usb works perfect. Its the white one with H/W Version B2 and F/W Version 1.31 (E) i had to install additional wifi drivers from plugin feeds but it works perfect showing a transfer rate of 300 so streamin is awsomeee. I can stream partner box onto uno from et9000 flawlessly. Will try external streaming later but so far so good. Jus thought id let u guys know

On vu+ duo it doesn't work(2.3.133, stick: H/W version B2, F/W version 1.71). However I found some information:

Well after quite a lot of time I have discovered the reason why some DWA-140 owners just CAN NOT get the thing blinking/detected no matter what... the new revision of this USB wireless product (B2, maybe others!) with VID/PID of 07d1:3c0a (NOT 3c09!!!) actually requires the following in your net.config:

WLAN_LOAD=rt3070sta.ko

Don't use 2870.ko on 3c0a (Rev B2) sticks! The new revision needs 3070, you still use a 2870/DWA-140 standard RT2870STA.dat it will read that, theres no 3070STA...

Any idea how can it hep?

whats the F/W version of the stick you have? mine is version 1.31 and works perfect on my uno

It is 1.71 and on duo. Maybe I need do downgrade it to 1.31 ?

Yeh if u can as thats the workig version i have on my uno
