The only other thing i can suggest to ya if u wana give it 1 more try if u havent already done this is reflash with original firmware for the duo which can be downloaded from the manufacturers website, install and initialize the hdd try a recording and then reflash with vix latest firmware, then do full software updates again and then reboot and try device manager again and see if that works. Its a longshot bt worth a try if its not too much bother

punisher its along the lines of the same green screen issue i had when trying to setup swap manager. ok i did suggest i did it incorrectly, as i did try and 'create' the swap before the devices were recognized. issue with devices manager is that it takes about 3 times before the system seems to see the connected devices when you enter device manager. so there is an issue here. what it is i do not have the experience to say. what i do say is that when you enter device manager you expect the device manager to see your devices first time. on vix 2.0 i just get different results, but first time i never get vix 2.0 to see either my external hard disk or usb. second time maybe it sees them, third time it always works. now i have flashed system multiple times but still the same issue with devices manager

but have you tried the post i made above as it seems to have fixed a few different issues that people were having with hdd and usbs but like i said its a long shot but worth a try if u got the time as it has worked for some
