Have you tried re-flashing WITHOUT settings restore?

YES

Have you tried re-flashing WITH a settings restore?

YES

I have Pluto TV on my Bravia smart TV and on Openvix. What I cannot seem to do is 'record' a film so I can watch later. Setting a timer from the EPG will only give me a few minutes of recording. I also want to be able to skip through a film if needed.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a specific 'player' to do this?

There is not a reliable option in any enigma2 distro for recording HLS streams. You are welcome to create one yourself and we would be grateful to receive your pull request.
