Driver update vs. Online Software update

Hello All,

I want to update my ET9000 running VIX 2.1 (to fix some PiP issues).

What is the difference in doing:
- an online software update from the image directly
or
- a drivers update (with an install script)

online update is driver updates and other feature updates

just that sometimes the drivers are so extensive that a reflash or pre or post telnet commands need to be issued to get them to install correctly

Where in the VIX menus can I find the version info of all software installed in the ET9000 ?
