[VU+ Duo2] Duo2 Freezes in Timer Recordings

Hi Everyone, I had a Duo2 with openvix-5.0.016.release-vuduo2_usb. While doing 2 timer recordings it freezes. Please Help.

Not much info >> no response my guess. You need to do better with regards your problem. Is it Satellite or Cable. What Softcam. FTA channels. Encrypted channels etc etc.

I am sorry for the lag of info, it is cable, no softcam, purely Fta channels only.

Cable? You can only receive a handful of on FTA Cable channels. So are you sure? lol. If you mean FreeSat then this is via the Satellite Dish. If Freeview this is via an Ariel and is better known as Terrestrial. So which method again?

Same here with 5.0.017 but VU+ Solo SE V2 instead, cable (DVB-C), no subscriptions nor softcam, only FTA (yeah, a handful...).

The receiver froze with VIX logo spinning and the unit was blazing hot. This occurred with the auto timer. I had to revert back to 4.2.030 since it worked just fine.

Yes Andy, strictly Fta channels only and fully cable, no satellite dish or Terrestrial connection. Please help

Hi Andy, sorry for forgetting to answer to another question. we are not on FreeSat, we have our own local station with daily Epg and only 8 Fta channels to view.
