EPG Question - Setting a program reminder ?

Just say I see a program in the epg in an hours time , is there any way to select the program from epg so it automatically switches to this channel if i start watching something else now ?

The only options i have is set timer or autotimer , i want to select a reminder and watch something else on another channel now , when my program starts it would be nice to either have the channel automatically switch over or give me a pop up reminder

Is it possible or am i dreaming ?
