Anyone else having trouble with updating EPG?? with cross epg or XE..??

With CrossEPG, it depends on whether you have just updated to 6.7 from a much older version. CrossEPG changed some time ago and the advice was to uninstall the plugin, then delete the CrossEPG folder completely on your receiver and re-install. It works fine for me in my test machines but I only use it to obtain EPG from 28.2E satellite. The built-in OpenTV zapper does the same job without requiring any separate database.

thanks for the info my crossepg is an old one i believe see pic my opentv does not work either .i checked on the plug in download and there is no crossepg there where would i download it from-???
the problems i have are on both boxes i have my VU+Uno 4k SE...And my VU+ sOLO 4k..
my other problem is my age and memory i cannot remember anything from setting up my boxes.AT ALL...

Ok -you need to uninstall the plugin from your receiver using the Plugins menu first. Otherwise it won't show in the plugins download because you have it installed already.

After you uninstall the plugin, you need to delete the CrossEPG folder from your disk. I assume you can connect to the box using an FTP program like FileZilla?

Then you can re-install the CrossEPG plugin from the menu.

Which image version and date of ATV are you using?

SORTED THANKS ALL . in the end i just removed crossEPG then while looking how to remove the old folder i tried another one and after downloading the files it updated crosepg and now runs perfectly. how i don't know but thanks for the help
