I get this message when installing in the Vix 1.3 image
*ERROR Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enigma2-plugin-extensions-dyndns: * enigma2-plugins-src *
* Cannot find package enigma2-plugin-extensions-dyndns.
Execution finnished!!

Has anybody come across this before? Are there alternatives to dyndns?

telnet into box and perform one after the other

Code:
opkg update
then
Code:
opkg upgrade

Thanks but no joy unfortunately.
I telneted the two commands with dcc and rebooted but still the same error.
What else could it be......

that should have done it not sure why then and you did let both processes complete right sometimes it upgrade takes a while always wait untill the command promt comes back

When i type "opkg update" about 16 lines of actions pop up but when i type "opkg upgrade" nothing happens for a few seconds and then the prompt pops up. Is this right?

yes thats right and the upgrade can take a few mins so wait untill you see

root@bm750 # till then leave it to do its thing

Yeah I'm having the exact same problem mate. Tried Silverfox's suggestions but still no joy.

Any other suggestions anyone?

As an alternative theres a PC utility to update you Dyndns

Code:
http://www.dyndns.com/support/clients/windows.html

Or some routers have a dyndns utility build in.
