External HDD what will you use for durability?

[kokojnr]

I'm looking at adding an external HDD to my Edision OS mini+ and i have the following storage devices

256GB SSD

1TB HDD

128GB micro SD inside a USB STICK adaptor

What will be the best amongst the 3 for durability and easy of use? i don't record much on this receiver so recording capacity isn't important

Some of my boxes are using 1Tb and 2TB externally powered toshiba canvio desktops as i like to record many things.

The Micro SD will take less space.

The mechanical HDD is not a good idea for picons unless timeshift is on automatically.
