[GiGaBlue HD800UE] gigablue 800ue stuck on load, after upgrade

had to downgrade to 54 as (057) it gets stuck on load vix loading logo.

i have tried 3 times today works (800ue not plus) fine on 054 but 057 it gets stuck on vix spinning logo in beginning and freezes there. any help please.

Any crashlogs in /home/root/logs/ ? if so, please attach one here.

You don't need to update your bootloader. I'm also using a gigablue 800ue and updated to build 58 no problems.

Make a backup of your settings...menu> setup> vix> backup manager> new backup (green button)

Couch flash build 58...menu> setup> vix> image manager> downloads (yellow button)

Once build 58 is downloaded restore from image manger using blue button then set your receiver up as you would

How is reverting to an older image going to fix the issue?

Flash latest bootloader. Flash image with no restores, do not scan and set it up bear minimum. Enable debug logs and reboot. Carry on with setup. Upload debug log when you next get an issue.

it does fix for me, i been trying to get it (057, 058) work freezes the box either in vix spinning logo or in screen adjustment part in user interface. going back to old 054 only fix for me. tried finding latest bootloader but can,t find it don,t really think i need it.

Try what Abu says and see if you get anywhere

done the bootloader installation i think as the light (pink/red) falshed only for 3-4 sceonds. will try image later and report back.

ok can confirm that all images after .054 freeze the my box just on boot spinning vix logo even after bootloader update... so no more updates will work on my gigablue 800ue box.

I couldn't see any new bootloaders for the 800 UE - old ones dated 2012. Do you have an 800 UE Plus? There is a 2014 bootloader update for that. But if you've flashed the wrong bootloader you need to revert to the correct one.

no i made sure it was the right one. for 800ue not plus was dated 2012 but i think was modified 2014 as it was written for it. never had any issue with vix before, don,t know how to fix this problem.
