Gigablue Quad 4K Pro has a problem.

Its not a good idea to coninuously power off and on any receiver - you should,use the remote to put it into stanby/deep standby.
So,if it powers up leave it alone!

Turning off - what exactly do you mean? Is this just putting the box into standby or deep standby or are you turning off at the mains plug or a switch on the back of the box? Is this switching off and then immediately switching back on or is the period between off and on a lot longer?

Standby turns very little off and switching out of standby takes a few seconds

Deep standby turns most things off and puts the box into a very low power mode taking less than 1Watt (usually less than 0.5Watt). It may take 30 seconds to go into deep standby and perhaps a minute to boot up from deep standby. A box will wake up from deep standby to record.

If you are turning the box off at the mains or back panel switch you need to put the box into deep standby first! Putting the box into deep standby allows the box to power down in a nice controlled way, saving what it needs to save and spinning a disk down controlled manner.
If switching off at the mains I would advise leaving the box for 30 seconds before switching back on to give internal voltages time to discharge.
