The one cable is feeding both tuners internally. Each tuner is receiving and demodulating the signals from a separate mux. There are only two Saorview muxes.

I ended up going for the only option available, the pricier VU+ Duo 4K SE.
Gigablue have no stock(seemingly noone does) and no intention of bringing out more of the twin dvb-c/t2 tuner due to lack of chips.
Ah well!
Sky got the bullet today so that offsets the cost somewhat.
