Hi folks

first time post here - just wanted to say hello. Am interested in upgrading my system from an old MVision combi to something like a VU+ or Gigablue Quad - just need to figure out which is best for me, and came across the site during my research. Anyway, looking forward to learning as I go along and please forgive any stoopid noob questions from me in the meantime!

:hello: and :welcome:to WOS. Quad is a great box and plenty of posts on here about it.In the VU range the solo2 is the closest to it and its also fantatstic box.I have box and prefer the SOLO2 due to a better VFD and to me it appears to be faster.

thanks Stanman - will keep your advice in mind. So much to think about... want to integrate into my home network also - do either of the receivers support XBMC?
