Just wondered if it's worth flashing to vix 2. Seem to be quite a few issues from what I have read. Is this still the case or have most bugs been ironed out?

well, if you are happy with your unit "as is" then stay put
the latest VIX image, is an improvement, but there are a few small issues, but even if another VIX image, or pli, sif team, its likely, that still more improvements will become needed
the dreambox range for example, was developed over many years, before they got to where they are now, The VU range, has only been around for about 18 months, and is now established
