[ET8500] Juderring / Stuttering viewing of a channel whilst another is being recorded

Hello All,

Tonight I am recording one programme on C4HD, and watching another on C5+1 but when puased the programme on channel 5+1 then pressed play after a few minutes it was all juddery/stuttering.

Cant think what on earth would cause this, but either the ET8500 is shoite, the HDD is not up to scratch, or there may be a bug in the softwarre.

Please help - getting absoltue fed up with this freaking box from the sponsor.

And the Mounts to other boxes on the ET8550 are intermittent at best...... If I could back a week ot 2,,, would I get one of these again,,, Err,,,, no...

Just tried similar with Sat inputs and worked no issue ..... seem to remember that you have a 2nd receiver, are you using remote channel streaming (RCSC) or fallback tuner between receivers?.

It could be possible LNB is faulty, Sky quad LNBs sometimes have issue when accessed by two receivers. When issue next arises, switch off the other receiver. Not just standby, but power off completely.

THanks for the replies. I will try again later on with same conditions and make sure that the other 2 receivers are switched off and see what happens.

Yes, I have a Sky Quad dish 1 x feed to ET8500, 1 x feed to Mutant, 1 x feed going to Mircalebox,

My motorised dish has a single LNB which goes to my ET8500.

i get that on my tm nano ,restarting gui or reboot fixes that odd issue.
