Iv just upgraded to the new vix zeus 023 & its got blind scan:thumbsup: this was my only grip with the solo2 & previous vix images not having blind scan.

The blindscan of the Solo2 is a bit slow but it does a thorough job. The Solo2 finds more transponders than other boxes.

i looked at doing a blind scan rob but i am not sure what frequency range to set for 28.2E it as a scan start & scan stop are they the default settings

regards norm

so the frequency's are the ones listed 10700 to 12750 is that correct

regards norm

its supposed to find more channels i have just done a Blind scan and still found 960 channels the same as when i do a Ordinary scan

Blindscan is primarily for finding feeds that are not part of the regular EPG lineup, it does not need channel lists or bouquets as it scans the entire spectrum for any thing and every thing, it's pretty much useless for sky @ 28.2 east as there are no, or very very rarely any feed channels available from this location

And we tend to keep our satellites.xml up-to-date, so there won't be many new transponders to find on any satellite.

Doing this update has saved me loads as i was going to buy a duo2 but no need now
