Is there a command to extract a list of installed plugins to a text file?
Of course you can take screenshots from the plugin menu and press the red key to get a list of plugins to uninstall and take more screenshots, but I think it would be handier to login through telnet or ssh and give a single command to get a list you can download to the pc and use that after flashing to check which plugins you had installed before. The text in screenshots may be small or blurry and thus harder to read.

Code:
opkg list | grep enigma2-plugin > list.txt

opkg list will list all that are available.
opkg list-installed will list those that you actually have installed on the system.

Thanks.
Looking at the list, it seems to me that it includes all packages under opkg control, including the operating system components and utilities, like kernel, busybox, initscripts, libc6, opkg and so on. Are they also considered plugins by the system, or is there a way to separate enigma plugins from the rest of the list?

opkg list-installed | grep enigma2-plugin

When you make a settings backup, you can unpack that; in it you'll find a list of extra plugins.

/tmp/ExtraInstalledPlugins , I suppose. This looks like the output of opkg list-installed, so apparently the same grepping finds the plugins from that file.
