Looking for a Zgemma H7C

Hi All. Looking for a Zgemma H7C that someone might have for sale. Specifically after a twin tuner T2 box. Already have an H7S but a move means that I need a twin tuner T2 box and I don't fancy going down the restrictive route of a Manhatten or similar. I like the flexibility of OpenVIX and also want to be able to share programs from the H7S to the H7C or similar twin T2 box. I know I can get one of the Quad VU or Gigablue boxes and specify 2 extra T2 tunser but it seems and awfully expensive way to get what I would like

You could use a Sony Play Station USB tuner. Its DVB-T, not DVB-T2, so no HD.

Useful to know thanks for that. Is there a way to specify that you only want to use the Tuner D (T) Tuner when recording the non HT T channels. Imagine I am recording a non HD channel that starts at 8pm for 2 hours which ties up Tuner C (T2) on the H7S then I try to record an HD channel at 8:30pm and all of a sudden C is taken up so the recording would fail as the plug-in D can only cope with T. How to avoid this without a load of manual intervention each time?

What I plan to do is keep the H7S in a spare room for use on a spare TV and get a new bit of kit for the main TV. At the moment it sadly looks like I may have to consider the Manhatten T4-R or similar but alas I will lose the ability to 1. Copy my own moviw files over to it. 2. Not be able to stream recorded content from the old H7S to it. A crappy solution. Seems a real shame that there are no budget oriented Enigma boxes that have 2x T2 tuners but I guess enigma2 was born from satellite so its understandable I guess.

The hunt for an H7C continues...

Enigma knows the spec of the tuner so will only use it for dvbt multiples, not t2.

But anyway there are other USB t2 tuners. You just need to make sure there are drivers on the feeds for whatever you choose.

I have my eye on a VU+ Uno 4K SE with twin T2 as a good alternative to a Manhattan. Seems to be well regarded and as far as I can see the only twin T2 tuner Enigma box but... I guess I could go for a single tuner box like a and pop in a USB t2 Tuner.

If that is the way to go I might look at:
PULSe 4K Rev. II. Combo (version: 1x DVB-S2X tuner + 1x DVB-T2/C tuner)
or would you recommend a good budget alternative that will take a USB tuner (preferably with 2x USB ports so I have one for a menory stick etc.).

If I were going down that route what would be a good T2 USB tuner to choose?

The uno is a very good choice.

The more I look at the Uno the more I like. What about a good T2 USB tuner though. Is adding a tuner like this asking for trouble and if not what ones are best for OpenVix?

I'll let Admis decide the most useful/appropriate forum - you never know there may be some VU user or Gigablue user out there that has an H7C lurking in a drawer Cheers to you Huevos.

They never work like the dedicated one. Sometimes lose the tuner etc. Slow on channel change.
