Mini Solo Help Please

Hi all,
I have Mini Solo which is now capoot
Foolishly updated SW from remote then only got FTA channels
I have read and read numerous posts but none seem to help

I Formatted USB
Loaded vuplus file, inside this file is solo file containing kernel_cfe_auto.bin and root_cfe_auto.jffs2 files
Inserted usb to rear of box and powered up
USB led stated flashing
During this red stand by light was showing
After a while box turned on / green light came on
I have left box for ages but nothing

Help very much appreciated
