[VU+ Duo4K SE] Mutiboot wont finish laoding vix 6.4

I have duo4kse with 3 images, tonight I used mutiboot to try another image on slot 3 but gave up and rebooted to slot 2 that had openatv 7.4 and should have rebooted to slot 1 to get back to open vix. I then used multiboot to go to slot 1 and it went through the normal reboot process and came up with a banner that had afn sports and the word stopped. I was watching baseball when I tried slot 3. Then screen goes dark and box does not respond to remote. I tried a hard reboot ie power at rear but no luck.

I know the ip address and can FTP in but after that I'm stuck.

Is there anyway I can get box to load image and get back Vix without a total reflash?

Emergency RECOVERY...
Should you manage to mess something up, and your box will no longer boot at all, then you can add a file called STARTUP_RECOVERY (a blank file with the stated name will do) and put this onto a USB stick, insert it into the box and power it off and back on (no need to remove any other usb sticks connected), once the Recovery image has booted, you must remove the usb stick, otherwise you will not be able to boot another image.

A little update. I used openwebif and was able to move the channel from AFN to Channel 4 hd and now can get a piccure and sound but the box wont respond to the remote. I can control box via webif but is there a way to get remote working again?? When I do a hard reboot while on CH4 it will boot back to that channel and a box appears with the word stopped as well as the banner, the nox with stopped then disappears and box is normal except remote wont work.

Well would you believe it I got remote to work. I used webif to get to settings and got to the part where you can change remote code. It was at 1 I changed it to 3 and followed the prompts and bingo remote works again.

It must have been because box booted to a blank screen ie AFN and that has stopped working so no image was output.

At least its all good now and I learnt a bit.
