network transfer & streaming on network speed

Hi,

Both my PC and vu solo2 are connected via ethernet cable. What's the average transfer speed everyone's getting from PC->solo2 or solo2->PC? Mine seems to be at 32MB/s or 3270KB/sec. Is it normal?

Also what'll be the limiting factor on streaming to PC on home network? Since changed the IPS, streaming over home network is nigh on impossible. Thoughts and helps would be appreciated.

What transport method? FTP, SSH, NFS, CIFS???
[Also, both my boxes are connected by Ethernet, but have a Wireless connexion in between.]

Also what'll be the limiting factor on streaming to PC on home network?

For SSH it's probably the box's CPU speed (for encryption).

Hi,
with the latest driver 30-50MByte/sec should be normal. Before the network interface of the Solo2 seemed to have some problems with certain switches.

I have router Huawei HG635 and switch Netgear HG105

Vu+ Solo2 and PC connected to Netgear HG105
Speed around 1 - 2 Mb/s

Vu+ Solo2 and PC connected to Huawei HG635
Speed round 35 - 40 Mb/s

Vu+ Solo2 very slow transfer data when connected to Netgear GS105 switch.
