nor my self but i did have this happen once with the duo on a slightly earlier build, the USB and HD managed to somehow swap mount points, this has only ever happened the once and was ok after re-flashing the image again.

Have set logs goin to see whats happening, if no joy will try a reflash. Ta

There was a bug that was found a long time back, but didn't sound to be the same ad your having. Can you post your fstab file?

as pointed out none of us have had this problem but i'm not saying that there is not a problem there, just we need logs so that we can see whats happening.
it's a good habit to get into when reporting errors or potential bugs to provide as much data as possible so that we can try to diagnose the problem, otherwise were just guessing and that does no one any good.

Thanks. keep us upto date with your progress and it it does happen again send us those logs as there a invaluable diagnostic tool to us.

mytube is no longer compatible with the image, plus we have had to remove it for legal reasons as the author has exorcised his rite to pull the license meaning it cant legally be used on any thing but a Dreambox using a Dreambox official image.

kinda the same here bandit

im running into an issue with the latest vix builds..
i turn my box off every night and turn it back on when i get in from work the next day.

everytime its turned on the hdd and usb are mounted the wrong way round which then i have to restart the box again and it'll put them back in the correct way.

any ideas?

I had the same problem, the devices were mounted upside dev

I disappeared in player /hdd/movie

when the problem occurred .../hdd/sdb1/movie (screen) Playlist hdd
the list was empty

That's when he changed to sda1,

location yellow button then had to find their path /dev/sda1

and now I get the list in /hdd/movie

I've fixed the dev in fstab to not change again

i went from latest 2.4 to 3.0 i then updated via online update and same thing happend to me.the usb stick became the default location for recordings ie.media hdd i cant remember what the hdd changed to lol.the next thing that happend was i lost my tunerB intemitantly so i then reflashed back to stock 3.0 and its faultless.love it

we need debug logs from the times you suffered these problems otherwise there is very little we can actually do to help you.

unfortunately that does not help us nor those who may be suffering the same problems you did, i appreciate you reporting you findings but there not of much use to us if your not going to supply us with logs so that we may at least try and find a solution. i would recommend that you save your logs to a USB stick so in the eventuality that you try a new build and decide it's not for you, you would still have access to the logs after a reflash to send to us.

the new image 3.0.... gives problem with 3 satellite tuner input a and c connection provides good picture but input b gives black image, with old version vix 2.4.... it gives good picture. This can be fixed.

have you updated the FPGA to v4.5 as this is required by the new drivers in the latest images ?.

Just updated to the latest unstable update 281 I think now it gets stuck on the loading screen and wont boot fully I did a full back up before so no real problem just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this issue Thanks
