[GiGaBlue HD800SE+] No access to Front Panel Display settings

I have a Gigablue 800SE+ and I just updated my image from Zeus 025 to Apollo 095. Almost everything sorted EXCEPT that I cannot access the Front Panel Display settings (so that the clock and blue/red light doesn't show when I put the box in standby. All was fine with Zeus image but no the box is like a lighthouse in the bedroom.

Any help appreciated.

strange, i thought i knew what the problem was but it seems not the case, will have to look further.
as looking at it now it should be there in the menu.

do you have an LED entry in menu/system?

I've just updated to Apollo 96 (different box) and I can see the setting...

Ah Pembo .. thanks for that .. it's your fault that I updated to Apollo 95 - to see if I could get better results on the e2stream app. May be I'll go to Apollo 96 and see if that helps.

plz could you telnet in to your box and type:-

ls /dev/dbox

it should return lcd0 or oled0

Thanks rossi2000. i'll give that a try when I get home. What does the result mean (be it lcd0 or oled0)?

could be a driver problem, we just need to check with the command above.

Just learned about telnet...and tried your command (ls /dev/dbox) but no such directory. Anything else I can do?

Just eent to apollo 96 myself ... and still no sign of led/front panel options. What am I missing?
