[ViX_Misc] Official statement re vix support.

would it be possible on some info about the new image. i.e what to expect from it or will just be like zeus??

Same as Zeus, IE no outwardly obvious changes, all updates are under the hood as a result of the recent merge with the latest OE ( Open Embedded ).

apart from ABM now support Cable scanning ;)

Was just about to update to Zeus from my old 3.x build. May as well hold off and be an early adopter for a change :)

Great news guys. Looking forward to release :beer::beer::beer::beer:

Not forgetting various bugs found & fixed, new bootloader screens & available to change in plugin downloads, new drivers for some boxes...
While some updates are written off as 'under the hood', they also contain many other reasons to update...

Actually this is the same as with the Zeus-update: the reason for changing names is a huge 'under the hood' update (in OE). But at the same time the normal evolution of E2 continues as well.

Does the Helios image still contain the Crossepg bug (XEPGDB and XMLTV) from Zeus? That's the only thing that's stopping me from upgrading.

Thanks

Not sure which bug you mean, but I use both daily.

Edit: Ah, sorry, I use Cross for Open-TV and the separate XMLTV importer, not XEPGDB and XMLTV in Cross (why would you?).
