[VU+ Solo2] On Demand losing internet connection

I was on build 088, have had connection issue when the box restarted after an auto update (green flashing circle). is would get stuck on please wait while you box reboots, i had to unplugg the box and wait till connection came back on and replug the ethnet cable back in, sometime it would auto start or i had to switch off from the rocker switch on back of box. i then moved to 090 where i'd thought this issue was sorted as in the info of the update it said (solo2 Gigabit Ethernet fix). which did fix the issue, as i tried it.

Now, today my daughter went to use the on demand plug in, bbc iplayer, which said gathering information, and nothing popped up, basically no episodes found. tried it again and noticed that the internet connection went off, had to unplug ethernet cable until the internet connection restored & came back on and re-plugged the cable back in all fine.

so i decided to check again, clicked on most popular show and says gathering info and then said (no episodes found), internet remained on, no loss of connection. did this a few times, with no internet loss

So am not sure if on demand is down/broken???? also it looks like the internet connection issue is not fully resolved as first thought. but need to check this when the next update is out (to see if internet loses connection) ITV player seems to be working fine.

The BBC iplayer part of OnDemand is currently not working due to changes the BBC made to the way they stream content, this is very unlikely to be fixed any time soon of ever.

cheers. i'll keep my eyes on teh internet connection loss and report back. cant do this until the next update.
