Which plugins have you installed, crash log shows debug with component ids not on OpenViX

That debug issue comes from openatv, so have you installed something from Blackhole or ?

So in general you can load any compatible image into rescue mode. Not only original Dreambox images.
Currently official images (besides the Dreambox own one) are supplied by OpenATV and OpenViX.
Since you are in OpneViX forum i guess you going to use OpenViX in it.
The procedure to initially flash your box with OpenViX is that:

1. Download the latest image from here https://www.openvix.co.uk/openvix-builds/dm920/
2. Extract the zip file and take ONLY rootfs.tar.bz2 from it!!!! (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!)
3. Power off your box via the back switch
4. Power on your box via the back switch and in a 1.5 seconds you have to press and hold the power button on the front panel
5. The power led will start blinking fast in magenta color. Keep it pressed till it start glowing in solid blue then release it.
6. If you did everything correct you should get an IP address on the LCD display. Go into a browser and navigate to that address
7. On the page opened choose Firmware Upload
8. In the field for image file choose the rootfs.tar.bz2 (see pt.2)
9. Uncheck checkboxes for backup and restore settings
10. hit flash button and wait to prompt for restart
11. Restart the box and you should be in the OpenViX setup wizard

recording DM920

now it works to watch another program while recording, it only works if you put a tick 0X500 in the comon interface, otherwise it doesn't work


it runs error free with openvix-6.6.008 :thumbsup:
