• Vix Night HD is not the standard skin.
• S1080 is the standard skin.
• Vix Night HD skin installs and works fine for me.
• Which box are you using?
• Can you provide your backup?

Vu+ duo 4K SE and standard skin does not do it for me.When choosing vix night HD from feeds there is an error .My codes are in backup so will not provide that but thx anyway

will try later but did opkg update and errors again. Remark : I installed new image in slot 2 and backup comes from slot 1

I checked the URLs in you screengrabs. They work fine. "wget 4" as in your output means network failure. So look like you need to start checking your end.

@bellejt No reason for not starting - I have been on this setup for months with main lounge box which uses softcams and xstreamity loaded
Maybe post debug logs?

Just upgraded.
Initially my cron job did not appear to restore from the backup. I decided to reboot fully for a 2nd time and the second time it booted up really slowly (like 10x longer that it usually takes with the numbers on the front crawling up to 49% and then crawling from the second 00 - 100%.. Its like the box was in limp mode or someting (Zgemms H7S).

I powered it off at the back and back on again and the boot went at normal speed and the cron "root" file magically appeared in the correct place. Not sure why but all is well now.

Only saying in case anyone else has the same.

is there a download IPK for skin vix night HD ? Thats the only skin I like but was replaced in standard image years ago. Then I check tomorrow what could be wrong and do a fresh flash without restore to see if that works.I have all the other apps/sofcamfiles as bakup install

I have a VU+ Solo 2. On the list of the no more supported boxes I find VU+Solo and in VIX download I only get 6.7 images. What are the consequences for me. How long can I still use my preferred skin and my plugins?

To be on the save side I made a image copy on my HD and saved my settings.

I have noticed a lot of "[eDVBServiceRecord] RECORD service event 14" in a row and it does not look normal or familiar. May be nothing. Starting at 16:14:05.9557:

no downloads from the feeds ( network is fine because streaming works)
samba not starting again problem
Xstreamyty new version does not work properly
installing skin vix night HD not working (not from ipk also)
Noted that on 1 reflash restore vix night skin was right.I am flashing in slot 2

Will do a test without restore now and restore manually

If you have a problem with xstremity, it is nothing to do with OpenViX, complain to the plugin author.

ViX Night HD ws always present as I posted yesterday. If you have trouble connecting it is nothing to do with OpenViX feeds. No one else has reported any problem connecting.

Ps : could it have something to do with flashing slot 2 ?

tried to flash the SF8008 an refuses to flash slot 2.Slot 1 all is well but had to change DNS to google for downloading apps and skin. Will try to flash VU duo4K in slot 1 and see if it works.

Latest news: installed on vu+ duo4K SE in slot 1 and changed DNS to google and working fine with download skins and softcam from feeds.
