[VU+ Uno] OpenViX Zeus fails to start

Vu+ Uno does not start properly after installing OpenViX Zeus.
ViX logo appears and dissapears and so on. There is no crashlog in /home/root. Here is the partial enigma2 log from telnet

1- Did you flash via USB or via the imagemanager? Best it to use USB
2- When does this happen? On the first boot after the flash (i.e. before the first install wizard)?

PS: you didn't properly fill in the requested info on the top of the post. Buildnumber is 001 (as we have only one build now), but I presume you didn't try to restore settings?

1. First via imagemanager and then via usb with the same result.
2. It happens on the first boot and install wizard does not appear.

I didn't restore anything (and it's not possilbe)

You can either await the next build, or unzip the attached file to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components

we dont support multiboot, therefore we cant comment on weather zeus works via multiboot apps.

As multiboot is a very complicated setup, and backup (including live-flashing) is very easy these days, I would never use a multi-boot set-up.

Anyway: no idea, never tried it. And we can't support it, as multiboot can introduce all kinds of issues.

yes you really do need to set every thing up again, Zeus is a totally different image to ViX 3.0, even if it does not appear to be from the GUI level. ViX 3.0 settings and backups are simply not compatible with Zeus and will cause you nothing but grief it you did manage to use them. hence why we coded it in such a way that Zeus will not load backups made from ViX 3.0.

ok.But the LCD4 config is stored somewhere.If I copied that to my PC would it be possible to put it in the new img ? Was a lot off work to chenge it.Where is it hidden on the directory off the vu+ for FTP ?

You can make an export of the settings from within the plugin. And you can import them again on your new set-up.
