You're not alone! Use search.

Enable Samba and use Windows Explorer to browse to your .ts-files.

thanks for reply ,i can see my files but cannot download ,does Samba not worktoo well with firefox ,did use search but could not relate to my problem,

After you enable Samba on your box, just use your normal file browser and locate your box on the network.

OpenWebif streaming / downloading problem

I had exactly the same problem on VU+ Duo running vix 2.4 - 213, so went digging to find the cause ....

I found the issue in : /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpenWebif/controllers/file.py at line 46

elif action == "downloadx": ## stupid fix for security hole DDamir

change this line to remove the extra "x" like this

elif action == "download": ## stupid fix for security hole DDamir

save the file & restart enigma refresh your browser and all should be working again YMMV but worked for me

Many thanks for helping an old pc nerd out as I was trying to get a VU going for my daughter and this had me stumped.
