Picture quality issue help please

I have just purchased a Gigablue quad plus and im having issues with the picture quality.I have played around with the settings but for some reason i cant seem to get the picture right.As if its not sharp or vibrant enough on the colours.If i put the sharpness setting to 0 the picture is viewable but as soon as i click up on the setting the picture blurs until it gets to the middle .Does this seem like a fault with the receiver?
Or is this just the quality of the unit ?.Thanks ...

Can you provide some more information as to the connection between your TV and the box? e.g. HDMI, resolution, frame rate etc. I have mine set to 1080p 50Hz on am HDMI connection to a Sony LCD and the picture quality is excellent. I wouldn't normally mess about with sharpness, colour saturation unless there was something wrong with the image.

I have no idea which image you're using, but (if connected via HDMI) make sure the 'VideoEnhandement plugin' is not installed.
