no feeds only going to one tuner, tried starting from bbc1 but still the same,

also deleted the satelite.xml file in etc i think.

Have you the second tuner disabled so or set to loopthrough?

i dont think so judge, i tried but could not figure it out on the menu will try again thanks

Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Tuner Configuration.
If you only have one feed going to the box, best to set tuner B as loopthrough.

ok i set the second tuner to loopthrough like you mentioned judge, this then made the picture go black and then a small vix logo appeared in the corner and now it seems it is searching.

judge thanks you are the man!

shock then joy lol loving this new world.

ok does that mean my autobouquets is all set up now i hope so

Yeah, sounds like it.
Press the TV button on the remote to see your list of bouquets.
Your recording/watching options will be limited without a second feed, but using loopthrough, you'll have a few more atleast.

ok all the channels seem to be in the same order i wanted 401 and it was fine,

Could not find Setanta though which is worrying. correction found it by using your advice judge pressing tv then found it was on channel 3000 odd lol, tht it would be in hd but its not

in my plug ins section there is only 4 things cross epg media scanner open webif and picture player no other feeds

not interested in recording etc, have no hdd or second feed.

Setanta isn't included in the UK line up as far as I know.
You could also enable an Irish scan, it then gets placed in the Irish sports bouquets.
Hide the other ones you dont want to save on duplicates.

When in that plugins screen, press the green button to download a list of available plugins.
The box must be networked for that to work though.

did the irish scan judge thanks, in plug ins screen now for picicons as advised earlier in the thread but there are so many files, do i need one or them all?

box is networked.

Personally, I use these picons.

If you install picons from the feeds & there is a software update, the online update can easily take 1/2 an hour as every picon will have to be overwritten.
Just download them & stick them on the root of a usb stick in a folder called picon.

ok judge will do just downloaded that and will do as you say dont wanna be waiting around half hour

how do i mount the usb on the box and can i just pull the usb out or do i need to remove it from menu first then take it out?

as judge says setanta is no longer available in the UK, only those in the ROI or NI can legally tune into and receive these channels so you need to also set a irish region in ABM to pick them up. as for picons i agree and also use the MMCmedia picons.

You can just pull it out, it's plug & play...
You could also ftp the picon folder to the root fo the DUO.
Restart E2 once added.

The USB stick should auto mount but you can check it in the mounts manager. Blue button> ViX> mounts manager. once the drive is mounted you can remove it and plug it back in any time you wish without having to unmount the drive etc.

did that, then it said it needed to reboot which it did then it froze on the blue screen openvix, been frozen a while now

shall i just turn on and off from the switch again?

yes manually reboot the box, hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

manually rebooting now that is ok took its time since i put the usb in but its back up

now i am going to add picons i have a folder on my usb stick called vuduo shall i put the picons in there or on its own folder

are you sure it was frozen & didn't just need to be switched to an active channel?

that's the image folder & sgould probably be deleted now.
the picons go into a folder called 'picon' on the root of the usb stick or the root of the flash.

delete the vuduo folder and create a folder called picon then place the picons directly into this folder.
