Problem when streaming to VU+ HD app

Hi

- I have a VU+ DUO2 with 2 tuners - BUT i have ONLY a cable connected to Tuner A, NO cable to Tuner B.
- I currently have configured TUNER A - And TUNER B is simply set to "NOT CONFIGURED"
- I stream content to the app VU+ PlayerHD and under the app setting i have set "No zap before streaming / Multi-tuner" to OFF.
- I'm running the lasted version of VIX software image - Version HADES v. 0.18 (Kernel 3.13.5)

I simply want to be able to watch the same channel at my TV and in the app (at my iPhone/iPad).

When i LAUNCH the app and click a given channel - every thing seems to work. Content is playing at my TV and in the APP.
BUT as soon as i change channel AGAIN, the content ONLY change in the APP. The TV screen turns BLACK and an error
pops up...saying "NO FREE TUNER"..!?

Why does it suddently needs two tuners? Am I - missing some settings - in my DUO2 box or what?
And yes - the setting in my app - IS CORRECT - because when i set the option to ON when it shows a warning about multi-tuners etc..
Some times the entire VIX crash - and shows a black screen with a lot of white text - saying that some thing went wrong...hmm

I really hope you guys can help me! Thank you so much - all help is really appriciated!

Not sure if this helps but the VU+ manual for using 2 tuners and only one connection advised connecting cable to B and having tuner A set as loop through to tuner B.

1- I would certainly use a loop-through cable from Tuner A to tuner B. Thats gives some more options.
2- I have very bad experiences with the VU+ app. Since I use DreamDroid with BS-PlayerFree it works perfect.

I have now connected my cable to TUNER B and set TUNER A to "loop through to TUNER B" --> Nothing changed - the error still shows up. I also tried the other way around...

That's not correct; any tuner can be used. The restriction to use tuner B (and loop through to tuner A) only applies to the Solo2.

The VU Android application isn't the best app there is. Said mildly.....

I get good results using DreamDroid with the BS-Free Player.

I stream to Iphone and Ipad...

But changing the tuner / set tuner to loop through - doesn't change any thing...

A loop-through indeed gives only limited improvement: the second tuner is limited to the same 'quadrant' as the first tuner is looking at.

if you have option on zap mode mirror this what you choose, on iPhone app I have this. and works!!!!!
