problems with fast forward and rewind

Last week I upgraded to latest vix image version.
after upgrading I have some problems with recordings and fast forwarding and fast rewind
even though the speed display on tv says 32x and more it doesn't fast forward with this speed. every speedsetting more than 8x is extremely slow. it doesn't matter whether i use fast forward or fast rewind.

older recordings still fast forward or rewind with faster speeds. new recordings don't

is this a known problem or am i doing something wrong

thanks for your answer...so it means it's a known problem and i can stay with vix image
