Recording after ts panel

Hi Guys, I have a duo with latest vti image! and built in hard drive, i used to be fit to just go to epg and press the red button for recording the program that i wanted to record, Then i pressed help button on remote and it would give me the option to view recorded programs!, But ever since i installed TSpanel i can no longer do this! How and where do i now find my recorded programs? as Help button does not do this for me now?

Installing TS-panel has ruined your setup (as has been reported over and over again).
You need to reflash your box.

As rob says TSpanel is a known image killer for ViX and all other Pli and Pli derived images due to the way it hacks system files in it's install process. This also means that you can not even uninstall it but have to perform a full clean image install.

TSpanel is best left out of the image but if you must use it we cant offer help when it causes issues as it's a closed source plugin.

Ok Thanks! I really only use it for 1channell, So how come whenever i updated to the latest vix image it suddenly was in the list of extensions? So therefore i thaught it would be ok to download it? Is there any way to run vix with this plugin or would i be better with another image?

TSpanel has not been in the ViX image feeds for a very long time as we removed it due to all the problems it was causing in the image.

No one is stopping you from using TSpanel but were just advising against it, you can of course choose to ignore that advice, most do, but we cant offer help for TSpanel related issues.

Are you confusing tspanel with tsmedia?

As tsmedia is in the extensions and doesn't interfere with the vix image and does give you access to 1channel.

To access recordings simply press the file list button which is located directly to the right hand side of the Menu button on the remote.

So you set us on the wrong foot; TS-media is fine and doesn't do anything wrong with your box.
