[ViX_Misc] Remote control lag

Wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me, i have a vu+solo and for a few days now my remote control has become extremely laggy, it wont let me push the same button twice in succession, for example pressing "ok" twice to bring up the more info banner, scrolling through the channel list has become impossible, 1 step forward two steps back kind of thing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have noticed some problems with the remote control, too. (I have a Vu+ Ultimo).
Sometimes the box just doesn't seem to respond, and sometimes it does something else.
For example, every now and then when I press 3 or 6 to skip the commercials, the Ultimo may suddenly mute the sounds instead of jumping! This is quite irritating, as I have the volume controls of the remote set up to control the TV volume, and the mute key controls the TV mute too, so I have no key in the remote to unmute the Ultimo and have to use the + key in the front panel.
And lately sometimes the remote have seemed to just lose keypresses randomly.
Last week I changed the batteries for the remote, I hope that helps..

Craziness, was banging my head against a wall, flash firmware, flash again, restore, don't restore etc etc.... In the end changing batteries worked...... Thanks.
