So out of nowhere my much loved vu duo suddenly stops working via remote.
I will condense what I've tried to make this as short as poss.
New batteries.
Fresh reflash of vix.
Boot with no usb devices attached.
For testing purposes I put my tv code in and it controls tv perfectly.
Only conclusion is hardware fault on the box, anyone have an idea if it can be repaired easily?
I have decent soldering skills.
One thing to note (not sure if it's related), my box sometimes has frozen display saying "loading" or something which I read is signs of a capacitor going.
1 last thing, it does show glimmers of response, holding a button makes the ir light on the box flicker briefly, and during setup after flashing, pressing down makes the selector highlight the next option but with a very long delay (15 secs or so).
Any advice much appreciated.
