[ET9x00] satfinder + VIX 2.2.100

hi

i'm new to this so please forgive me if i have missed something obvious here. i have searched and have found nothing that really relates to my dilemma.

I took delivery of my et9000 in july and have it set up with a fixed and motorised dish. since i upgraded to the latest Vix 2.2.100
i have been unable to select a satellite to tune to in the satfinder interface.

i have successfully loaded a previous image and have no problems selecting a satellite to tune to so am not sure why this is so.

i have flashed the latest version of VIX several times and every time i get this same problem

i have a fixed dish set to tuner A in simple mode and tuner B is set to simple mode with positioner using USAL with my long/lat details

any ideas ?

try setting tuner B to advanced
set up say 19 east to lnb 1 / moterized / disque 1.2, extra voltage yes / input your USAL setting / then before hitting "ok" set up all other required sats, via hi lighting 19 east..then press the sideways button, select say 28 east, lnb 1, and repeat, once done..hit ok, this will save your settings

then use sat finder, to see if you have a result

but i seem to have fallen at the first hurdle, lol

tunerB is set to advanced and lnb1 is set, but i dont see where i can make it a motorised dish from the options i have

that aside (and this may be where the next problem lies), all other settings are ok and selected as you suggest, but when i select the satellite and press sideways button to change to another, i get "all satellites 1" 2,3 or 4


when i select lnb "not available" i get lnb33


am i missing something so obvious here ???

If u have a proper satellites.xml file with all tha sats in u want, when u press left and right on the satellites and scroll through them u shud see ur satellites listed
