I have a strange issue since years. I sent in also the Gigablue UHD UE 4K back to Gigablue for checking, but no error found.
This applies only to the German folks with a Vodafone Kabel (ex Kabel Deutschland) account and a FBC tuner. It tokes me almost a half year to figure out the culprit!
Symptom: if you record a program on ServusTV, the box freezes during the recording. It could happen after few minutes, it could happen in the middle, at the end, or sometimes it works (very rare). On the other hand, if the channel ServusTV is selected and you watch a recorded movie, then it happens that the pictures freezes but audio is still going on, but box freezes. Only a power cycle help. This is reproducible on my box.
Anyone have an idea? Has this something to do with OS CAM? We have a regular account with the card, so not a hacked stuff.
Nobody could help, not ServusTV, not Vodafone and not Gigablue.
