[VU+ Duo2] Since upgrading to 3.2.015 can't see hdd

Since upgrading via usb fresh install method of 3.2.015, i can't see my internal hdd anymore. i had a glimpse of the 800gb remaining and saw it appear in devices briefly but then cannot access any of the recordings, rebooted now cant see it at all anymore...it now seems my backup manager isnt displaying all my back ups anymore either...eeek!..what have i done, finally got it all working well and feel like ive messed something up!
Anyone else having any probs with this flash? got a horrible feeling ive killed my new hdd ):
Tried another fresh flash with settings restore and some came back as it gave me an option to restore to 3.2.10 that i had saved, but still no HDD and after cannot then see the backups on usb again??
5 hours and counting..time for some zzz'ss...does it sound like my settings are corrupted, perhaps starting from scratch ? but what about the hdd, can i maually force it, considering ive got half a disk full of recordings to protect?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Looks like you're losing mount points for some reason.
A fresh flash should sort it.

Gonna go for a fresh flash now, settings restore comes up with hades 13 , it doesnt see any of my other back ups anymore? should i choose this option ? perhaps it will give option in back up manager again after?
still cant see hdd ..damn its worrying!

hmm, no sign of internal hdd or the back ups once visible in the usb..not a peek out of my hard disk...cant believe this is happening! Bugger!
Any other suggestions, ideas as to where i maybe going wrong? is there a way of manually mounting the internal hdd?

eek, just checked via ftp, all my backups, upgrade back ups etc on usb are gone? deleted? have i been hacked? HDD still not visible either...help!

Do you have an old backup on your PC that you can reflash. How about putting the HDD in a USB caddy on your PC and using something like EXTfs for Windows to mount it so you can read the linux file structure - then you can recover files.

managed to find an old backup beginning of september on old 500gb hdd using as external backup now...seems my new internal hdd maybe fried, only a month old! will swap that out in caddy an see if can see/read/view any contents before sending back to fleabay lol ...simply gutted!!
