Solo2 unable to initialise hard drive

Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a Solo2 from World of Satellite and i am now trying to initialise my pre-installed hard drive, however i am getting a message saying unable to initialise hard drive!

Is it worth pulling the drive out and putting it into an external enclosure - that way at least you can stick it via usb into your laptop/pc and run a diagnostic on the drive? It may also not be plugged onto the mainboard of the solo2 quite right?

maybe already initialised.

It may just need mounting? try that

Hi if you try everything to no avail as a last resort reflash with latest vix image and go from there..
this is what i have done in the past and then only needed to set up the hard drive like to never sleep or after 2 hours etc as the drive was seen by image.
