SX88 V2 - How to add openvix for first time

Hi there,
I got a Octagon SX88 SE V2 WL HD S2+ - it doesn't have openvix on it.

How do I add openvix to it?

And it has client mode there for you.

Not 100% sure if you use the Mmc file and not the recovery file.

If box is connected to internet and your using a mounted usb or hdd one can couchflash the box straight from the internet server.

Hmm i do wonder how one changes to another type of IMAGE?

I would say that box comes with a one off image, its called define OS you buy it for its features, you would not buy it and then try to use it for another purpose. The box one should get is the one with DUAL BOOT on the label. Send it back and say you made a mistake.

Hmm then is client mode an option to use with this box and leave that image on box and get the best of both worlds.

Power on and hold down OK button on the remote. When UPDT appear on screen release the OK button and wait for the recovery menu.

Once in the recovery menu go to Network Multiboot image upgrade. Flash OpenViX into slot 1, simples.

Thank you. My partner got a recommendation (in good faith) on a different forum for this box as it is tiny and would fit behind tv. But yes - we got the incorrect one.
