TM-2T AC3 Downmix Stereo

Hi all, since build 699 been having problems with AC3 audio and the digital downmix to stereo no longer working.
Can anyone confirm this is broken in the later builds ?

I'm running a Twin OE and the latest update (to 708) did NOT overwrite the older drivers I had previously uploaded to the box in order to fix the DD5.1 error.

It's the same old story with TM, they release drivers to fix one bug (freezing) but introduce another (DD5.1)..

It's not that DD isn't working, it's just that now the boxes are downmixing all 5.1 content to 2.0, meaning downmix is on (and working) permanently (regardless of the setting). Of course for 5.1 AC3, the downmix should be off, hence the problem.

So, considering no new drivers appear to be present in the latest release, the bad drivers you have now will remain unless rolled back manually.

I wish TM would bother to test all the outputs (not just the HDMI) and for longer than 30 seconds before releasing their garbage

Hi, I'm on latest drivers 22/08/13 723 and still no 5.1 available even though the previous one 721 said it corrected the fault it didn't.

Have these drivers corrected the fault for anyone?

New drivers were placed in the image from build 734 along with the new kernel, This has fixed a lot of issues from previous drivers.

No idea mate, it has been reported to Technomate so it's now in their hands.

A manual fix is to use an optical cable rather than using the hdmi audio...
