You can edit the sort file to your liking if you want. I sometimes have the most used channels at the top of each bouquet and the rest in alphabetical order (including the ones at the top). Does not affect numbering as that is done by the main bouquet.

I like to keep my local channels at the beginning ie. 1 BBC local 3 ITV local then it goes to 101 BBC HD AND SO ON, so my question is how can i add this to a custom sort file? is there any guides please?

List the numbers you want in the order you want. An example of first ten will do.
 
Here please. If you have swap enabled take that into account.

With swap BBC 1 HD = 101, BBC SD = 141
Without swap BBC1 HD =141, BBC SD = 101

No bbc hd is on 101 which is how i like it, thanks Abu

Channel list
1 BBC one East
2
3 ITV Anglia
4 ITV Anglia +1


then 117 london live.

Once i have a sort file will these channels stay where they are even if the bouquets are updated or do i have to keep putting them in channel order every update?

They will be created in the order of sort file selected. No need for edits.

Numbers? Do you mean what they are on the bouquets now. Ie
BBC One East 961 to 1?
Itv anglia & Anglia +1 is not on the bouquet nor is london live.

Look at the csv file (if necessary) or in the "other" bouqet and post the numbers you want. Ignore the brackets, I have just put them to better explain.

961 (BBC One East)
101 (BBC HD, if swapped)
102 ( BBC two)
142 ( BBC two HD)

88 = Itv anglia east to 03
65 = Itv anglia +1 to 04
1050 = london live to 117

Hope this is what you mean.
 
In the order you want in the entertainment bouquet please. You have given only four numbers. Don't you want BBC 2 and chanenls between 105 to 116 in the bouquet?

I believe you are getting mixed up between sort and swap. Forget swap for now please.

I cannot see it even listed on the sky guide site, it is listed on abm under freesat but not sky. If it helps on the official receiver it is BBC One East and Itv anglia if that helps.

From the Neutrino Version, The ITV selectons are
If east, 4097 21.
