[VU+ Duo] USB External NTFS problem

Haven't hooked up my external NTFS for ages, so I fresh flashed Apollo 37 and installed the ntfs-3g drivers, rebooted and plugged in my usb external drive and all i get is the Vix spinning icon constantly. I restart the box and if the external drive is left connected it doesn't boot up at all.
Any suggestions? the hard drive works flawlessly on the smart tv or plugged into PC and it used to work great on openvix 3.0

You could try loading the latest 054 image using the USB method and set everything up again from scratch. See if that works.

thanks for that, i had 054 on it last night but an update not a fresh version , noticed 055 was on the server then, may try that later

I think your problem was that you used the update method. You need to do a fresh & clean install as your previous image was quite old.

Also I read elsewhere that 055 might be unstable - I would play safe and load 054 using a USB stick and set everything up from scratch.

Only Glad to help, as I had the same issue and it was a pain to say the least, if it wasn't for the help from Tkr001 .
every update since its been good, but hope if there is another reflash it is fixed
