VIX 2.0 internal hdd and usb memory stick

i'm not exactly sure about this.
i hear talk of using the internal hard drive for recordings and usb memory stick for picons, swapfile and epg data - how is this possible, i seem to only be able to have one device mounted at a time?

plug in usb device

restrt gui

press blue

go to vix

go to devce manager

both yr devices will be seen if they are not exit out and try again just need to give ti time to wake hdd

then from thre press green

mount
hdd to /media/hdd
usb to /media/usb
