you can always compare against some other language translation, for example Finnish (fi.po) which is complete translation.

I've updated the .po file here: https://github.com/OpenViX/enigma2/commit/a3f971228b47e00ff96e147c8d5d93a5dc8a7ec1

Most is now translated.

Zip is attached so you can try it out and improve.

You can test on your receiver. Put "enigma2.mo" from the zip in "/usr/share/enigma2/po/it/LC_MESSAGES" and restart the box in Italian.

Tweak the po to remove any errors.

You can rebuild the mo in POEdit and retest on your box.
