Thanks pooface pointed me in right direction, dns server was down when configuring box so it used local gateway as dns address. All sorted now thanks to everyone

fist: Thank you for the great Image ... i tried the 2.1 VIX Image on my CT ET9000
and nox i am using the 2.2 Version of the VIX Image ...

But i have a little Question an hope you can help me again ...

Can the content of the "Extensions Menu" be sorted or delte a thing ?
For Example, I don't need/use the OscamInfo and want an other Extension
on an other place in the Menu ... ?

Some items can be turned on & off in the menus. For example, Logs Manager and Crossepg can be enabled in the extensions manager... However, some items cannot. OscamInfo etc, atm, cannot...

you should have the option on log manager, its in vix 2.2 menu/setup/system/logs

also whats the problem? how did you get these crashes?

lookin at the logs you are on 2.1.4

found the log manager add on now.

Thats odd I upgraded to 2.2, it did crash badly and took an age to come back on once.

all those logs show the version number of 2.1.4 ...

Checking all logs, they are from 2.1.4...

you might wana try a reflash and do full updates as something has probably gona wrong somewhere

Actually, I just tried to reflash and it has done the same thing, it says it has found a new image but then never installs it and is still on 2.1.4. It did this the last time as well and I thought it updated ok.

where are you downloading the image from as you should be flashing the 2.2 image which either works or fails ... it. There is no online update for vix 2.2 you have to do a new flash

never realised you had to press ok on the receiver, installing now.

how long should it take to boot, seems that its getting stuck...

Got it back up, had to remove usb as soon as it finished as I had an issue with crossepg from usb before the reflash.

Have u removed any other devices connected to the box? Before the flash?

Ah ok, u shuda jua reformatted the usb and then done the flash. But aslog as u up and running. Remember to do a software update after u flash to get the latest updated image too

If you press record on the remote is there away to not ask for confirmation and simply record until programme has finished?
